The first look at the June issue is up on the
German website. At first glance I am torn between being cautiously optimistic and not excited at all. There are a few things that pique my interest, but, honestly, I think there are a lot of things that Burda has done better in past issues. Definitely going to have to wait for a full preview to make an assessment of this one...

Jumpsuit - the hot pattern style of the season. I'm actually sort of liking this one. |
This ruched dress has potential. I want to see the line drawing. |
Basic dress, could be nice for summer. |
I'm digging the lace jacket. I really want to make one now. |
The drape of this looks awkward, but it could just be the fabric/lighting combo. Another one I want to see in line drawings. |
Is this lace top from the same pattern as the dress above? I just don't like the way it hangs across the bust... |
I'm liking the photography for this sporty section, though I'm not a huge fan of the waistband on those shorts. |
Need to see a line drawing here... |
Not sure if I like this in the stripe, but in another fabric I might really like it. |
This looks super easy to sew, but, also, like it needs a belt. |
Groovy man. |
Still don't like that waistband. |
Wondering how many of these pieces are patterns. |
Possibly interesting dress - another one where I want to see the line drawings. |
Basic tops are always nice to have in the stash. |
The kids clothes are pretty cool looking this month. |
So, overall, there are a few pieces that look potentially interesting, but many of the styles have been done before, and many with more interesting details. What do you think - does this look like it will be some nice, easy summer sewing? Or are we in for an endless summer of boring patterns? Leave your thoughts in the comments!
As usual it seems, I pretty much agree with everything you said, at least there may be some possibilities. Hope so , my output from burda 2015 is pitiful so far!
