The skating world is fairly small. And while we all know some people better than others, everyone still knows everyone. So it was that today the skating community was shocked and saddened by the passing of Yumi Goody.

She was part of a skating family; very involved with the sport and known by many people. She was also a world class skater back in her competitive days. So, my thoughts are with her family (and especially her children) in this sad time. I know many great skaters want to be remembered for their skating, so here is a video tribute to Yumi.
