Dance Skating - The Imperial Tango

The next stop on my tour of dance skating is the Imperial Tango.  This dance is only skated in International roller skating, although it is used for both team and solo dance.  It is being used this year in the Jr World Class team event, and was last skated team in 2008.  It was also skated in 2009 for the Jr World Class Solo event.  It is skated to a 104 Tango tempo.

International Solo:

This dance is also skated in the #11 Gold International Dance tests for solo and team.

So I guess I don't have much to say about this dance.  As it is only skated in one style and not used for ice, there isn't too much to compare or contrast, or even many examples available.  However, it is a rather fun dance to watch (especially team), so it should be exciting to see at nationals!
